Music therapy for Parkinson’s disease!

Degeneration of substangia nigra is not only related to decreased dopinergic activity, but to NAc too. It causes depressed mood and reduced ability to experience reward. It is quiet interesting topic in research whether songs which produce thrills can relieve bradykinetic movement to PD progression.

Efficacy and tolerance of a Neurological Restoration Program in stroke patients.
The neurological condition was evaluated using the Scandinavian Stroke Scale (SSS), and the functional condition using the Barthel Index.
